Cancellation Policy

We understand that schedules can change. Please review our cancellation and rescheduling guidelines below:

1. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Rescheduling within 24 hours is subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

2. Payment & Terms

  • Prepayment is required to confirm all appointments.
  • Clients acknowledge that ClearChoice Notary Solutions is not liable for unforeseen issues that may arise during the notarization process.

3. In-Transit or On-Site Cancellations

  • If the notary is already en route or on-site, and the appointment cannot proceed, the full service fee still applies and is non-refundable.

4. Late Arrival Policy

  • Clients must be punctual. A 15-minute grace period is allowed.
  • If the client fails to arrive within that time, the appointment will be considered canceled without refund.

5. Late Arrival Extension

We understand delays happen. If you contact the notary after the grace period and their schedule permits:

  • A late fee of $1 per minute will apply, starting after the 15-minute window.
  • This extension is not guaranteed and is at the notary’s discretion.
  • We strongly encourage timely arrival to avoid additional charges or cancellation.

6. Document Preparation

  • Clients must have all necessary documents complete and organized prior to the notary's arrival.
  • If documents are incomplete or missing, the appointment is considered canceled, and no refund will be issued.

7. Emergency Rescheduling

We recognize that emergencies happen. If an unforeseen event prevents you from keeping your appointment:

  • Notify us as soon as possible.
  • Provide a brief explanation.
  • Rescheduling will be subject to availability but may be accommodated without penalty.

8. Policy Modifications

ClearChoice Notary Solutions reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be communicated and updated on our website.

By scheduling an appointment, clients confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.

Refund Policy

Our goal is to deliver exceptional notary services. Below is our refund policy, which applies in specific cases:

Refund Eligibility

  • Service Errors: If we make a clerical error, we’ll correct it at no charge. If a correction isn’t possible, a full refund will be issued.
  • Unrendered Services: If we cannot fulfill a prepaid service due to circumstances within our control, you will receive a complete refund.

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Client Errors: Incorrect information provided by the client disqualifies refund eligibility.
  • Post-Notarization Changes: Refunds are not available due to changes in your situation after a notarization is completed.
  • Legal or Regulatory Issues: If we’re unable to complete a notarization due to compliance issues, no refund will be issued.
  • No-Shows: Clients who fail to appear for their scheduled appointment forfeit their right to a refund.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Contact us within 24 hours of your appointment.
  2. Include a detailed explanation of the issue.
  3. Our team will respond within 2 business days of review.

Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 3 business days.
  • You will receive a confirmation once the refund is processed.

Important Notes

  • Our liability is limited to the service fee paid.
  • This policy is reviewed periodically and updated as needed. Any changes will be communicated accordingly.
