ClearChoice Notary Solutions LLC

1. SERVICES PROVIDED

ClearChoice Notary Solutions provides notarial services in accordance with Washington State law, including but not limited to acknowledgments, jurats, oaths/affirmations, certified copies, and witnessing signatures. We offer both traditional in-person notarization and Remote Online Notarization (RON) services.

2. APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING

Appointments must be scheduled in advance. A confirmation will be provided upon scheduling. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of $25.

3. FEES

- Notarial acts: $15 per signature (maximum allowed by Washington State law)

- Travel fee: $40 flat fee covering the first 40 miles within 98042 zip code

- For appointments requiring travel beyond this distance an additional charge of $1 per mile applies 

- Additional fees may apply for after-hours, weekend services, or complex documents

- Payment is due at the time of service

- Accepted payment methods: Cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payment apps

4. IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

All signers must present valid, government-issued photo identification. Acceptable forms include:

- Driver's license

- State ID card

- Passport

- Military ID

The name on the ID must match the name on the documents to be notarized.

5. DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS

- Documents must be complete with no blank spaces

- All signers must be present (physically or virtually for RON)

- Documents in languages other than English require a certified translation

- ClearChoice Notary Solutions reserves the right to refuse service for incomplete or suspicious documents

6. LIMITATIONS OF SERVICE

As a notary public, ClearChoice Notary Solutions cannot:

- Provide legal advice

- Prepare legal documents

- Advise on document content

- Notarize documents where we have a financial interest

- Notarize documents if the signer appears to be under duress or lacks capacity

7. CONFIDENTIALITY

ClearChoice Notary Solutions maintains strict confidentiality regarding all client information and documents. Information will only be disclosed as required by law or court order.

8. LIABILITY

Our liability is limited to the notarial act itself. ClearChoice Notary Solutions is not responsible for the content, validity, or effect of the documents being notarized.

9. RECORDING

For Remote Online Notarization, audio-visual sessions will be recorded and stored as required by Washington State law.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Washington State and applicable federal laws.
